We are currently looking for an experienced Industrial Design Engineer with a high level of industry experience to join our growing in-house design team. We are an expanding, dynamic company with the opportunity for anyone who joins us to develop as we grow.

Job Role: Industrial Design Engineer

Salary: £Negotiable

Location: Whetstone, Leicestershire

Job Type: Permeant / full time

You will work alongside our in-house design team to create design concepts through to fully engineered, manufacturable products. To be considered for this position, you will need to possess the following attributes:

• Have a minimum of 6 years experience in a similar role(s).
• A creative designer with strong mechanical engineering skills.
• Proven experience of solving engineering problems.
• An exceptional grasp of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to create and present detailed design and engineering solutions to our customers.
• Proven experience of taking design projects from conception through to manufacture.
• Excellent attention to detail with a sensitivity to the aesthetics of a product.
• A strong understanding of design for manufacturing and assembly.
• Specifically, a good understanding of the injection moulding process.
• Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with other departments within the company (tool room engineers, production team, sales team, etc.) throughout the development and manufacturing processes, as well as our customers.
• Proficiency in Solidworks CAD software.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative software including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Experience in FEA analysis would be beneficial.
• Self-motivated with an enthusiasm to learn and develop.

• Responsible for all digital marketing activities within our group of companies, Versoflor, Agentdraw and Alliance Tooling.

• Social Media Advertising: Design, execute, and optimize highly effective sales advert campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, targeting the right audience to generate leads and increase sales.

• Campaign Strategy: Develop clear objectives, identify KPIs, and implement advertising campaigns with measurable outcomes that align with overall business goals.

• SEO Expertise: Leverage SEO best practices to enhance the visibility of our content, improving rankings across search engines and driving organic traffic to our site.

• Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse campaign performance, adjust strategies as needed, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, ensuring all goals are met.

• Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing manager to produce compelling visuals and messaging that align with our brand’s voice and resonate with our target audience.

• Budget Management: Oversee ad budgets to maximize ROI, ensuring that campaigns are executed within budgetary constraints.

• A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests to refine advertising strategies and continuously improve the effectiveness of our campaigns.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Google Analytics, SEM tools, and email marketing platforms.

• Certifications in Google Ads, META Blueprint, or other digital marketing tools.

• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or other similar social tools).
